The Omaha Local Section is proud to announce two awards that are established by the 2021 Executive Committee:
Distinguished Service Award
Omaha Local Section of the American Chemical Society Distinguished Service Award nominees will be (1) current or past members of the Section who have (2) demonstrated outstanding service and commitment to the Section.
Distinguished Career in Chemistry Award
Omaha Local Section of the American Chemical Society Distinguished Career in Chemistry Award nominees will be (1) current or past members of the Section who have (2) demonstrated outstanding contributions to chemistry in the areas of education, academia, or industry.
Nominations are currently solicited for the 2023 awards. Nominations will be simple 1-2 paragraph description of the nominee’s achievements, list of a few bulleted notable accomplishments, name and contact information for both the nominee and nominator. Please nominate a colleague using this link!
