ACS Omaha Section 2022 Elections
The Call for Nominations for officer positions on the Executive Committee, and the Councilor and Alternate Councilor positions of the Omaha Section of the ACS is now open. In accordance with Bylaw VI, Section 2 of the “BYLAWS OF THE OMAHA SECTION OF THE AMERICAN CHEMICAL SOCIETY”, the Executive Committee, serving as the Nominating Committee, is keen to know of any member who is interested in serving the Section and would be willing to be listed on the ballot for the 2022 election. The open positions are:
- Chair-Elect
- Secretary
- Treasurer
- Councilor
- Alternate Councilor
A description of the duties and terms of each position in provided in Bylaw V, Sections 3 and 5 of the BYLAWS. The Chair-Elect has a term of one year, after which they would assume the duties of the Chair for an additional year. The deadline for nominations is October 15, 2022. Please refer to the email communication recently sent to all Members to nominate a colleague.
