Welcome to the ACS Omaha Local Section website!
The Omaha Nebraska local section of the American Chemical Society is committed to engaging and supporting the greater Omaha chemistry community. Through professional development, community building and outreach activities, we aim to connect, inform and inspire current and future generations of scientists, educators and students. This website acts as a hub to see our future events (see below) as well as a record of our past activities.
This year, our Section will once again support the Metropolitan Science and Engineering Fair, with projects exhibition happening on March 27. We are looking for judges for chemistry projects – this is a great way of engage with the next generation of scientists and contribute to the success of science education in the Omaha Metro! We are also looking for a volunteer coordinator to help organize the judging – this is a great way to expand your network with local chemists and get more involved with your local ACS.
